In whole Turkey just finished the national festival called Bayram. For muslims something like for christians Christmas. And it based on same rules. To give alm to poor. The most known feast for me before was Ramadan/Ramazan, what is something like preparation for Bayram. It s a moving festival, every year different long and in different days. This year was from TU 16.11. till SU 21.11. The habits differ village to village, family to family. But in general there are at least 3 commmon things. Killing animals - mostly cows and sheeps. Guts are thrown away, meat is given to poor and skin is selled. That happened mostly in frist days of Bayram - this year TU 16.11. Second common thing is that most of shops is closed or changed oopening hours, but nobody knows the new one opening hours.:) Third and the most important thing is that whole family is together. All around Turkey. So that means that trains, buses are fucking crowded and you can find tickets after few days. This year during weekend or Monday was „almost“ impossible to get somewhere out of Ankara if you didnt buy ticket in advance. And we didnt buy it in advance of course. So we didnt spend Saturday at train as we wished but by exploring of Ankara and its historic centre - ULUS.
Except of Alfredo we were all from flat plus Rafa l rutkish friend Tamer who is studying in Izmir. We walked through the old Roman baths, Teple of Augustus and Column of Julian. At the castle was almost glue to us one stupid guy who said that he is rapper from here. Fucker. After lot of time he pissed off. Before he was with us in Museum of Rahmi M.Koc. That was guy who collected almost everything. Nice one! After we visited Museum of Anatolian Civilisatio n which is supposed to be as one of Turkey’s best museum. Hmm. As an every historical museum... And what to do after? You know something better than spend Saturday evening in Lunapark? So we went to Genclik parki across the street. Me and Nori are leaving the others and trying our luck in TCDD Gar and after at ASTI. Here we are succesful and we buying tickets to Antakya - Hatay for today evening. So lets get outta here and pack at home.
