As I said, it happened. Monday at noon we were picked up by EGO buses in centre and they took us somewhere out of town. Here, we were on start appr. 320 and after shaking hand with mayor of Ankara we started. Where I was again running? I participated 75 annual of Ataturk race or 75.Buyuk Ataturk Kosusu.
Custom number 1 be as closed to starting line as possiible even if I am able to run only few hundred meters and custom number 2, run from the beginning as fast as possible is everywhere the same. So I started from 5th row. Before me was 11km on asphalt, from which was 8km downhill. Hmm, I tried it and i wasn't last. I started pretty easy and all the time I wasn't alone. Few minutes before finished I stopped to enjoyed and I was thinking about finish. Finish was here, before municipality office. I wasn'T able to guess my position same as time. But soon I found out results on web (at the end of article about race), from which I found out that I was 34 with time under 36minutes. I got only 5 minutes from 1st and only two girls beated me! Anyway, it wasn't so bad. Results in the way of ridiculous walking I dont have. And medail with Ataturk head and jersey with Ankara sport clubs on back not everybody has! And that I will be given by price money I didn't have to be afraid of
. Hmm, but in Ankara have only one race per year, amount of runners is good, but Turkey is pretty big country, isnt it? ...
